Such a Great Tool

These menders are excellent quality! There is absolutely NO comparison with the cheapy plastic versions you may have seen! Lots of great videos on YouTube to get you started also!

This loom is so well made. I was darning socks in no time. I cant wait to start some tapestry projects to combine with my collage quilting projects. This loom will be an heirloom to pass down. Im very pleased with the purchase

Awesome!

Awesome people and awesome products!

My first attempt at darning!!

This has been so fun! I have rescued 6 pair of socks and keep looking for other things to use the wonderful tool on.
They may not be perfect yet, but I am sooo happy with the results.
Thank you!

Worth buying!

I ordered this little loom to use to darn and strengthen my hand knits. It works a dream and so beautifully made too! There are other cheaper looms around but if you can, get this one

This is a great way to mend

At last I can mend holes in my hand knit socks, blankets and hats. This loom is well made and easy to use. The craftsmanship is wonderful in this age of poorly manufactured goods.

Wonderful little loom

I received this loom as a birthday present and it is awesome! I darned my first sock ever and the patch looks pretty good and is comfortable to wear. I've been using sock weight yarn. The swift darning loom is so well made, it's super easy to work with even though I've never used any kind of loom before. Also everything was very environmentally friendly! Would highly recommend

Fabulous, Handmade Tools!!!

Thank you so very much for sending me the deluxe pkg of tools - they are an absolute JOY to hold in one’s hands! So smoothly finished and the little manual is a great info refresher. These were bought for a GrGranddaughter’s present though I’m trying it out first. I really appreciate the thought & care you put into designing and creating it.

A simply beautiful and delightful way to darn!

I saw an old video of this darner being used as it travelled around the world. While I have a modern speedweve, something about watching the motion of this one being used spoke to my heart so I ordered it and I’m thrilled that I did. It was beautifully presented in its carrying case, with everything I needed to use it except a project and some colorful thread. Once I sat down with it, I got to experience its wonderful craftsmanship and it the smooth way the hooks flipped back and forth. It’s really a work of art and a source of all kinds of positive feels. The rectangular darning decks are a terrific size for mends large and small and offer the ability to do things a round speedweve can’t. Next up: learning to weave with it. I can’t wait!

I will treasure this little miracle worker until the end of my days- such a lovely, quality product. I can’t wait to see the wood wear and patina after my millions of projects! So easy to use, and the guide and videos available help spur my creativity. Thank you! I love it so much.

Not imperfect at all

I ordered the imperfect darner as a way to save some cash as I start my mending journey and it's perfect in every way! The packaging is beautiful and the accompanying instruction book and link to how-to videos were the a huge help getting started.

Great product!

Great product! Meticulously made

Love, love, love!

Since receiving my loom a few weeks ago, I’ve mended many pairs of my hand-knit socks and am working on a much loved but very moth eaten cardigan. The build quality of all components is exceptional and it’s just a beautiful piece of equipment. Everyone who sees it says , “wow, that’s so cool!” I’m really glad I finally purchased a bundle after eyeing these for over a year. I haven’t yet tried weaving any tapestries yet, but have some ideas in mind for gifts once I finish all the repairs. And of course, happy to support Canadian business. ❤️🇨🇦

Obsessed!

I bought this for my partner as a birthday gift so he can learn how to loom and he is so happy with it. The informational videos on the youtube channel are amazing! The quality of the loom is really good and the fact that i could buy local is a plus!! extra points for the adorable packaging that it came in!

Just right!

This was exactly as described and the accompanying darning needles are the cherry on top. After getting the hang of making sure the fabric tension on my mends was correct (that was the only real learning curve), I flew through my mending pile so quickly that I started offering darning on my local Buy Nothing group! This lil' contraption is actually helping me build local community. Who knew.

Starting with mini-tapestries

I purchased the Swift Darning Loom and Weaving Bundle. The darning loom’s ingenious design and construction is pleasant to handle while also functioning as an effective weaving tool. I’ve never woven before, although I’m experienced in sewing and using a knitting board or loom. My first effort at a mini-tapestry surprised me by looking pretty good, which was due to the clear instructions that accompanied the tools. My second mini-tapestry is more ambitious because I’m making it the full length of the extended board. Next, I’ll be using the darning loom to repair three or four shirts that have been awaiting my attention. The Swift Darning Loom and extended board are beautiful, hand-made tools that are both utilitarian and a pleasure to use. I recommend them!

Great little tool

This is a great little tool and wonderfully made. You can see the care and the craftsmanship. I practiced on a few old socks to get the hang of it, and I’m looking forward to mending a lot of things and keeping them out of the landfill. It took me a little bit to get the hang of it and figure out which yarns worked best, but the YouTube channel is very helpful and I feel confident after only a few socks! And I should also add, I’ve washed and worn the socks several times and the patches I did are holding up great. :)
