Love this so much. Lots of love goes into making these. They are very good with communication and helping with any issues.
The Swift mending tool is just the perfect combination - sturdy and beautifully constructed, large enough work surface, and a joybto work with!
I was able to darn a hole in my favourite sweater the first time I used the kit. It was easy and intuitive.
The step by step guide was very handy.
I'm looking forward to using it as a look to make Christmas presents this year.
I love everything about this little loom package. The adjustability of the warp length is very helpful and the shed changer is magnificent. I love the reuse of materials: wood and bicycle spokes and the beautiful craftpersonship! The pouch is very well made of lovely cloth. Due to the compact size, I can take this with me when I'm selling my wool products at the Cobblestone Farmers Market and work when I'm not with customers. And Elysha rocks!
Laura! thank you so much for the kind review. Loove love love your tapestries so glad you've been enjoying your loom.
I love this cute, little, solidly constructed bag. It makes me feel good about choosing it and supporting a neighbour's wonderful local business, with a globally thoughtful and responsible presence. I get compliments about this bag specifically almost every time I wear it.
I love my little mending loom. I have such fun mending my socks with brightly coloured yarn and have started fixing my fleece jackets with those burn holes from campfires. And now I see the moths got into my merino top but, no worries, I’ll make a feature of the mend!
At first I thought the loom seemed a bit expensive but the handmade design using recycled and up cycled materials is such lovely quality that I feel good every time I use it. Sometime unique, handmade things are just worth it. And I’ll be motivated to use it a lot so I get the best value for money. Haha!
Keep up the great work!
Susan
I love my little loom! It’s such a great tool and a pleasure to use. Well made, too!
Usato ancora poco perché più difficile di quanto pensavo. Spero di riuscire a fare rammendi artistici e non tutti storti e bislenghi. È un po' complicato....
Thank you for this feedback (and sorry to not have the skills to reply in Italian!)
I will make it a priority to upload new tutorials by January that include attention to straight edges, tension/shaping, and other FAQs. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out anytime or take a look at the video tutorials I already have online such as this one:
https://youtu.be/svlfChSPXxQ?si=51v3O5xubo7ogU98 - or search youtube channel: Worth Mending.
I have uploaded my full transcript to the captions of that video, which should hopefully make auto-translation a bit more reliable if needed too! I hope this helps you to get the most use of your darning loom :)
The weft pick that came with my Swift darning bundle is very beautiful and sturdy. It feels great in the hand and is super helpful when you need to snug your stitches down. Using the weft pick makes it easy to get a really polished look to your darns and weaving.
I really loved my darning loom, so decided to get all the extras. Everything is beautifully made, and easy to use!
I look forward to using this for many years to come- it’s a joy to use such a beautifully made tool
Elysha and Scott make a high quality product that is very unique for today's mass produced world. They fabricate all the parts by hand, and a lot of care goes into each loom. Their products are made to last a lifetime, or for generations.
What makes it even better is that there are videos available to help with learning how to begin the weaving process for a beginner like me.
There are several ways to stay in contact with Elysha via email or Instagram.
I enjoy supporting small businesses like this.
Such a smart idea and lots of fun to put together. I love that it can be taken apart and done again in different arrangements. And it looks great on the tree!
I bought something from Worth Mending, yes. But that was almost over a year ago now, did they get some new software that happens to dig into old customer’s emails and try to hound them for reviews? Cos that’s the vibe I’m gettin. Did my boyfriend absolutely love the gift I got them from here? Absolutely, they use it multiple times a week ever since, sometimes daily. Do I trust these new shenanigans? Absolutely not. It was a good product, very useful, and loved; but I trust the brand less a year post getting it and considering how expensive their products can be, it’s not the kind of thing I’d want to buy without much trust. Evens out to 3 Stars. (I went to post this and it auto-changed my review to 5 stars and I almost didn’t catch it, SHENANIGANS, 2 Stars)
Hi Xo,
Sorry to bother you with the email request, but don't worry, it wasn't a bot, it was me :) Reviews are not an automatic feature on Shopify, but last week we decided to try it out. I'll be honest I'm a bit torn on the concept in general, but we don't have any other way of publicly gathering and sharing feedback. Like you said, the skill, time, and labour we need to include in our costs can seem prohibitive, but since we know our customers back us 100% we thought we'd ask the small favour of leaving a (hopefully positive) review for others to find. We chose to dig back one year to get a jump start from our most generous customers -- including you! Glad to hear that overall your gift was well-received, that's what counts :)

Do not hesitate to purchase this outstanding product. I have never mended anything and did not think my mends would look as nice as the videos but they really are. I just played with different weights of yarn and now I pretty much use sock yarn on my sock mends. I’m so glad I had saved socks over the years that needed repair. I also enjoy sliding my fingers along the smooth wood and hooks, it’s just so relaxing!
Fantastic product. I had a sweave-style darning tool, and really wanted something in a similar vein that could help with larger darns. And hey presto, I came across the Swift Bundle. I have used the larger darning setup to make a long darn in the leg of a pair of favorite trousers, and I am really happy with the result. The elements of the bundle also look great, and are really nice to work with.
It was a perfect gift for my friend who has always loved putting things together.
This loom truly is heirloom quality. It was easy for a first timer to use to mend and also easy to use for non-mending projects! Just love it!
I have the whole shebang weaving bundle and I love it. I mostly use the loom for patching jeans, but also darn socks and sweaters. I especially like the extra long work surface. Learning different weaves on a small scale has really been fun. I would really like an extra wide work surface and a 21 or 28 hook loom if that ever becomes available. Customer service is excellent and i enjoy the YouTube channel. Im so glad I found this darning loom!
I am so glad I splurged on this! I’ve already used it many times, and it’s so handy to pull out to do a quick mend. Very thoughtfully constructed and packaged, and the zine is handy to remind me how to set it up when I inevitably forget every time 🥴 Highly recommend! 🥰👍
It was a gift; I don’t know if it is that useful for the family I bought it for.
These were incredible for the kids and very well made and beautifully packaged. Looking forward to collecting a stack of cereal boxes to donate for this years!!!
The Swift Loom is super well made and very beautifully crated, and the great items it came with that are included in the bundle are very nice as well. I have used the Loom to mend several items, but have not tried weaving yet, but I am looking forward to trying it out in the future. The order came quickly and was packaged very nicely.
The extra long work surface is very helpful with large mends and is a beautiful piece of equipment!
