Your kit arrives plastic-free, swaddled in your denim zip pouch and tucked inside of our custom-stitched brown paper mailer. Inside you'll find:
- Swift Darning Loom base with 14 hooks
- Standard work surface, 3" x 4.5" (7.5 x 11.25 cm)
- Weft Pick
- Warping Helper, made from upcycled cardboard
- T-shirt yarn "stretchy tie", our durable upcycled substitute for a rubber band
- Set of specialty needles, 40-100mm long to move easily across all 14 hooks

What's old is new again! We seek out broken hardwood furniture to carve small batches of these precious looms. The wood is sanded to a fine finish and left bare, so that it will develop a beautiful patina with age and use.
Each of the work surfaces is unique in character, and in many cases the original finish is left intact as a hat-tip to the previous life that the wood has already enjoyed.

A woven patch can repair or embellish all manner of things! Use this loom to darn your socks, sweaters, blankets, scarves, decorate your hoodies, jeans, hats, cuffs... As long as you can place the work surface behind with the loom on top, it's good to go.

- Reclaimed hardwood (could be maple, ash, oak, etc.) from broken furniture
- Stainless steel bike spokes, sourced secondhand
- Solid birch plywood
- Stainless steel screws

Do not hesitate to purchase this outstanding product. I have never mended anything and did not think my mends would look as nice as the videos but they really are. I just played with different weights of yarn and now I pretty much use sock yarn on my sock mends. I’m so glad I had saved socks over the years that needed repair. I also enjoy sliding my fingers along the smooth wood and hooks, it’s just so relaxing!

I thought I would have to throw away some of our favorite pieces of clothing when they got damaged but this loom is a game changer.
At long last I have the Swift Darning Loom in my possession. I expected it to be high quality and it truly is. The hooks are strong and straight and stay in place and don’t get twisted. Prior to this purchase I have bought three other mini looms. Two were grossly inferior. The third showed good craftsmanship but it was round and therefore didn’t allow bigger patches. Also it was from Ukraine so no longer available. I truly appreciate the quality of the Swift Darning Loom and also the wonderful videos found on You Tube. Thank you Elysha and Scott

Have a old favorite Scottish sweater that has a torn sleeve cuff. Would I be able to mend this with your tool?
